Full Paper Submission Guidelines for E-Textiles 2025 Proceedings
All manuscripts corresponding to accepted full conference paper will be published in the official conference proceedings and indexed in IEEE Xplore. Consequently, all presenters, for both oral and poster sessions, are strongly encouraged to submit a full paper.

Manuscript Requirements
- Length: 4 to 9 pages.
- Format: PDF, prepared using the official IEEE Xplore template (A4 Word or LaTeX).
- Metadata: Authors must ensure that the title, author list, and affiliations on the final paper are identical to the information provided during the abstract submission phase.
Submission Procedure
- 1. Validation: Prior to submission, all manuscripts must be validated through the IEEE PDF eXpress Check service. The Conference ID is 63767X. This service will be available for submissions until October 15, 2025.
- 2. Submission: Once validated, the certified PDF must be uploaded to the ConfTool portal. Navigate to “Your Submissions” and select the “Final Upload” option for the corresponding entry.
A digital copy of the proceedings will be made available to all registered conference attendees.
Reviewing Criteria
Each submission is peer reviewed, by at least 3 reviewers, with the following criteria:
A. Technical/Theoretical merit
How good is the technical approach they have chosen? how sound is their theoretical idea/concept? Have they provided a good scientific description of the work done, does it seem scientifically sensible? Is their theory/concept plausible and of scientific/technical interest?
B. Significance in the Field
How significant is this work in the context of e-textiles? It may be well known in other fields but perhaps novel to use in e-textiles? Are suitable references provided to support the novelty?
C. Organisation
How well written is the extended abstract? Are the figures clear, good quality and with suitable captions? Is everything legible and easily read? Are all acronyms declared and explained? Are the tables and graphs well presented with clear data?
D. Overall recommendation
The overall recommendation for including the submission in the conference and whether it is recommended for an oral talk or a poster presentation.
If you would be interested to become a reviewer for the conference, submission does not exclude you, please get in contact with the Technical Programme Chair or Conference Chair to volunteer.
Using Generative AI (GenAI) tools for spelling and grammar, or to help improve your English, is acceptable but if used then you must declare in the abstract text what tool was used and a short description of the type of task it was used for (e.g. images, spelling/grammar check, generating code). It is not acceptable to use GenAI to write your paper or produce graphs of the results or make any conclusions. The paper should be all your own work.
Non-disclosure of GenAI use for the submission will result in rejection.
